The Senate returns Monday, May 14 and the House reconvenes Tuesday afternoon. The House takes up HR 4970, a measure that would reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act. The chamber also plans to debate HR 4310, the fiscal 2013 defense authorization bill.
The Senate considers a House reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank (HR 2072).
House and Senate Appropriations Committees continue work on fiscal 2013 spending bills.
