Administrative Specialist I - Architecture-Pay Grade 35, - $10.29 per hour - Full Time -Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, provide administrative and clerical support to the Chairs of the Graduate Architecture Program, Landscape Architecture Program and the Interior Design Program. Organize and maintain data required for student recruiting and admissions, academic history, student files and updating/maintaining records using Banner, in addition to assisting students, processing petitions, course syllabi, organizing events such as Open Houses and Orientation and other administrative duties as assigned. This position is also the point of contact in the College for coordinating work orders for maintenance/repair work with Facilities Services. A high school diploma with three to five years of administrative work experience or a Bachelor's degree is required. Applicant must have excellent customer service, attention to detail/proofreading skills and be able to work in a high stress, fast paced working environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have good computer skills. Prefer experience with e-mail listservs, Banner and UT Timetable software, but not required.
