Think of the university signature as a subordinate visual focal point of your piece rather than the main focus of attention. Place it near the bottom as a closer, saving the more visible section of the page for your main message.

The signature is most effective if kept separate from other graphics by an amount of open space approximately equal in size to the mark itself.

Trademark Indication

Indication of trademark status is not required on pieces created internally to promote the university. It is required on any merchandise to be sold or licensed. For the logo and university signature, the TM symbol should be used. For the seal, use the ®. These elements should be small and inconspicuous as indicated here.
