UT Foundation Board to Meet Jan. 20 in Nashville

January 13, 2010

KNOXVILLE -- The board of directors and officers of the University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. will meet at 1:30 p.m. CST Wednesday, Jan. 20, in Nashville.

The meeting will be held on the Veranda at the Hermitage Hotel, 231 Sixth Ave. North.

Agenda items include:

• Audit update
• Future vision of the UT Foundation
• Financial update including budget, summary of foundation assets and endowment performance
• Discussion of real estate resolution

The foundation's mission is to support the University's educational, research and public service initiatives by seeking, receiving and administering private dollars. A nonprofit corporation, the foundation helps meet the needs of the University by augmenting state and institutional funds.
