Tennessee Transfer Pathway

The University of Tennessee and the Tennessee Board of Regents are working together to assure the seamless transfer of courses among all Tennessee public community colleges and universities.

Between June 2010 and March 2011, 28 faculty task forces consisting of representatives from institutions in the Tennessee Board of Regents System (TBR) and the University of Tennessee System (UT) met to develop pre-major curricula in community-college programs that will lead to seamless transfer at any public university in Tennessee. These curricula are known as Universal Transfer Pathways. The task forces completed 50 pathways in 23 academic disciplines.
