Scorecards

The scorecard is simply a way to assess progress. The system scorecard and the campus/institute scorecards are in place, and goals and metrics are being reviewed as part of the integrated strategic planning process. This is to ensure alignment within the system and that planned actions continue to support the mission of the university.

The UT Scorecard contains key metrics that link to one of the university’s three Strategic Focus Areas:

  • Student Access & Success
  • Research & Economic Development
  • Outreach & Globalization

Each set of metrics has identified goals and provides historical information that charts our progress toward meeting each goal. Where appropriate, benchmark information is provided to identify how we compare to similar institutions.

The scorecard measures the university’s effectiveness in achieving its mission.
