Office of Equity and Diversity
The Office of Equity and Diversity serves the university system in the development of policies and programs that promote diversity in student recruitment and retention, faculty and staff recruitment and retention, academic experiences, and community outreach.
OED provides resources and support to the campuses and institutes to enhance diversity programs and initiatives. Additionally, OED prepares and has oversight responsibility in the development of the Title VI Report of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX Report of the Education Amendments of 1972, and affirmative action plans.
