Diversity Advisory Council

The Diversity Advisory Council was formed in January 2010 and is charged with advising the UT System president on matters pertaining to:

  • How to be effective and efficient in the recruitment, retention and graduation of a more diverse student population
  • Recruiting and retaining a more diverse faculty and staff
  • Development and implementation of performance measurements for the purpose of accountability, and other matters relating to diversity as necessary

University of Tennessee Vice President for Equity and Diversity Theotis Robinson will retire Jan. 31, 2014 and on Nov. 1 began serving in a transitional role as vice president and diversity advisor.
